Congressional Run 1988       21 Jan 10

Back around 1988 I thought I would try and run for Congress.  Below are some links to writings I composed in that era.  Most are drafts and not the final products but they do convey the thought.

I've got two life long ambitions.  Both are dreams which for the longest time I didn't think I would ever be able to pursue.  One is to achieve a Doctorate degree.  For as long as I remember I've always had the desire to be able to write my name as Thomas F. McMasters PhD.  For me this is the ultimate designation of status - especially for technical areas such as Physics and Mathematics. The other goal is to get on the ballot as a candidate for Congress.  At one time this goal was to actually win a seat in Congress.  The table below provides links to some compositions I wrote back in the error when I was consumed by the prospect of running for Congress.  For the most part I am amazed that the fundamentals of my current thought reflect a similar philosophy as my writing 20 years ago.
